| Event Schedule & Hotel Information DAY 0: TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2008 4:00PM – 5:00PM thinkAbout 101 in the Luxor's Nile C Salon Followed by your choice of: 5:00PM – 10:00PM Learning Las Vegas Tour with Jim Gilmore (departing directly from the 101 session) or 8:00PM – 11:00PM Lounge with Joe Pine at the Aurora lounge located in the Luxor casino Get a primer on the Experience Economy at thinkAbout 101. It's an optional, but highly recommended, level-setting for the next two days – even for thinkAbout alumni. Then choose from two decidedly different experiences: Lounge with Joe later that evening; or depart directly from the 101 session for a whirlwind tour of Las Vegas with Jim, experiencing an abbreviated reprise of our first Las Vegas Learning Excursion at thinkAbout 2001. (If you’re touring with Jim, be sure to wear comfortable walking attire and shoes, don’t bring any bags or laptops, and be prepared to trek about at a brisk pace!) DAY 1: WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2008 8:00AM – 8:45AM Breakfast at Tender steakhouse, located just off the Luxor’s casino floor 9:00AM – Noon Kickoff with Pine & Gilmore and Giovanni in the Luxor’s Egyptian ballroom Noon – 1:15PM Lunch at Fusia restaurant, on the Atrium level 1:30PM – 3:00PM Polarity selections and preparation for team Learning Excursions in the Egyptian ballroom 3:00PM (approx.) Depart for Learning Excursions 6:00PM – End of Day Return to ballroom to prepare and finalize team output for Day 2. (Dinner will be served 6:30PM – 8:30PM adjacent to the ballroom) Fuel up with a hearty breakfast before we kickoff with Pine & Gilmore and Gio in the Egyptian ballroom. Following lunch, we’ll return there for instructions and development of the Learning Excursions. Then it’s off to hit the streets of Las Vegas in pursuit of your team assignments. Return that evening to prepare your team’s output for Day 2, with dinner available as you work. Work that evening until your team is ready for tomorrow! DAY 2: THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2008 8:00AM – 8:45AM Breakfast at Tender steakhouse 9:00AM – Noon Open Space and Team performances in the ballroom Noon – 1:15PM Lunch at Tender 1:30PM – 3:00PM EMA, Top 10, and EXPY awards in the ballroom 8:00PM – 11:00PM Optional Post-Event: a “Surprise” joyride down the Strip and throughout Vegas Following breakfast, we begin our Open Space debrief and team presentations. After a break for lunch, we’ll officially wrap thinkAbout with our Experience Management Award (EMA), the Top 10, and Experience Stager of the Year (EXPY) award.
